Norwegian Airlines Now Offers Direct Flights to Rome from San Francisco

The long-haul, low-cost airline, Norwegian, has announced the release of a new route connecting Rome Fiumicino with San Francisco Oakland.

If you’re thinking about visiting the Eternal City of Rome on an Italy custom tour, then we have some good news for you: Norwegian, a long-haul, low-cost airline based in Europe, has released a new route connecting Rome Fiumicino Airport and San Francisco Oakland Airport.

The new route, which was released in February 2018, comes hot on the heels of Norwegian’s other direct flights to Italy from New York Newark Airport and Los Angeles Airport.

 

Direct Flight from San Francisco to Rome

From February 6th, 2018, two flights will be available per week (Tuesday and Friday) between Rome Fiumicino and San Francisco Oakland, with very reasonable airfares.

With demand for this flight route now exceeding 150,000 passengers a year, it is hoped that Norwegian’s move will increase tourism in both San Francisco and Rome, as well as offering a convenient route for business travellers.
